This policy outlines how we handle returns and refunds in accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act.
1. Eligibility for Returns
We accept returns under the following conditions:
- Damaged or Defective Items: If you receive goods that are damaged, defective, or not in accordance with your order, please notify us within 7 business days of receipt.
- Incorrect Items: If you received an item different from what you ordered, please contact us immediately so we can arrange an exchange.
- Unopened Items: If you ordered the incorrect product, we may accept returns for unopened, resalable items within 14 business days of purchase. Please note that a restocking fee may apply.
2. The Return Process
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Notify Our Team: Email us at info@whitecopypapers.co.za or call +27 (0) 64 050 2567 with your order number, a description of the issue, and photographic evidence of any damage.
- Authorization: Once your request is reviewed, we will issue a Return Authorization (RA) number and provide instructions on how to return the items to our 6th Ave, Philippi, Cape Town facility.
- Shipping: You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item was damaged or shipped incorrectly by us.
- Inspection: Once we receive the returned items, our team will inspect them to verify their condition.
3. Refunds
If your return is approved:
- We will process your refund back to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable.
- If you prefer, we can issue store credit for the value of the returned goods, which can be applied to your next bulk purchase.
4. Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and quality assurance, the following items cannot be returned unless they arrived damaged:
- Opened reams of paper.
- Custom-cut or modified paper products.
- Products that have been used or tampered with.
